Trevassack Lake

Trevassack Lake is an incredible open-water swimming, sailing and water sports centre with holiday accommodation and café based on the Lizard Peninsula. Set to be Cornwall’s most accessible year-round swimming spot, this freshwater lake is in a converted serpentine quarry with exceptional water quality and is perfect for getting wet in all weathers.

Children’s Sailing Trust is the charity that works to open up water sports opportunities for young people in Cornwall, overcoming financial or physical barriers that hold children back from time on the water. The new venture at Trevassack Lake will increase the opportunity for more local children to get outdoors, including those with physical disabilities or special educational needs.

Lavigne Lonsdale were delighted to be involved in the architectural development and delivery of the project. This included the learning centre, holiday units and landscaping detail. Brady’s Construction Services Ltd did a fantastic job with the construction.

Each of the purpose-built holiday cottages are spacious and welcoming. Close to Trevassack Lake but secluded and peaceful with all the mod-cons (including hot tubs!)

This will be a fabulous asset to the Children’s Sailing Trust and enables them to continue doing such important work for kids and carers.
