The Emerald was the UK’s first luxury, zero carbon holiday accommodation, achieving Code for Sustainable Homes level 6 accreditation.

The scheme involved the redevelopment and alteration of the existing buildings on site, along with the construction of 3 new luxury holiday homes. The design fully embraces sustainability, incorporating features such as recycled materials, high levels of insulation and the planting of native plants and trees.

Lavigne Lonsdale provided a full Architectural Package for the solar farm and swimming pool, as well as an Ecological Impact Study and comprehensive Landscape Strategy.
