As part of Lavigne Lonsdale's on going role as Landscape Masterplanners for the urban extension of Plymouth, Redtree LLP requested us to produce the Landscape & Visual Assessment for 2 x 2 mega watt wind turbines as part of the overall EIA. The turbines are 125m high and generate enough power to run half of the proposed 5500 houses in the scheme. The site is close to both Grade 1 Listed Buildings, AONB and Dartmoor National Park and was Granted Conditional Consent by South Hams District Council in December 2011.
