Overview
City Hospital was the regeneration of a derelict hospital site in the centre of Truro. Lavigne Lonsdale were appointed by Midas Homes in association with Harrison Sutton Architects to develop a high density residential scheme for the site, keeping the original Listed buildings. Harrison Sutton led the project and came up with the overall scheme design but Lavigne Lonsdales role was to develop the concept for the external environment, which had considerable topographic variation and constraints, and get planning consent, which we did.
Midas Homes took the concept work and developed the hard external works plans and Lavigne Lonsdale were appointed to prepare the planting plans, review all the external works on site and prepare an arts.
The scheme is now (Dec 2011)almost complete.
