Lavigne Lonsdale where appointed to carry out an urban design review of the master plan for a residential scheme for 80 units. The allocated site is on the edge of Bodmin and next to the former Bodmin Jail; a listed building. The previously appointed architectural team had been unsuccessful in achieving planning approval on the site for the previous 2 years and with one refusal, were in the process of running to Appeal. Lavigne Lonsdale carried out an initial appraisal of the site and produced a master plan layout which was presented to the Local Planning Authority. Lavigne Lonsdale were then appointed to carry out a full application for the site and did so with the same team that worked on Wherrytown. The scheme has now received Detail Planning Approval.
